Surespan delivered a turn-key temporary bridge crossing over the Indian River in support of the Eagle Mountain Pipeline project. Scope included sign-off of the crossing design, along with fabrication and supply of two rental steel superstructures (160′ and 120′) on temporary timber abutments. The structures were installed using a progressive steel launch procedure to carry construction traffic across the river throughout the pipeline works, and Surespan subsequently carried out full removal and site demobilization once the crossing was no longer required.
