Surespan completed the structural steel erection for a one-kilometre replacement bridge, installing 81 steel girders in three parallel girder lines across 12 concrete piers, most exceeding 40 m in height, and two abutments. Surespan engineered the temporary works, lift plans, and installation plans required for the erection. The steel erection was completed safely in 179 days despite high winds and temperatures as low as −35°C, finishing 3.5 weeks ahead of schedule.
