A FIXED STEEL LANDING, ENGINEERED TO ANCHOR A BARGE CROSSING TO SOLID GROUND.
Project Type
Structural Steel Fabrication
Location
Squamish, BC
Surespan fabricated and installed a structural steel landing platform along the Stawamus Indian Forest Service Road near Squamish, BC, supporting the Eagle Mountain–Woodfibre Gas Pipeline project. Working as a subcontractor, Surespan’s scope covered the shoreline steel platform along with the barge anchors and rollers that secure it, forming the fixed landing point where a ramp connects down to the water-based barge crossing. The floating barge itself was supplied separately; Surespan’s work delivered the steel structure and anchoring system that made the crossing possible.
