Surespan strengthened the steel superstructure across ten 90-foot spans of an existing rail bridge crossing the North Thompson River in Kamloops, BC, while maintaining active rail traffic throughout construction. Surespan developed an engineered suspended work platform to provide access beneath the bridge, with strengthening work carefully sequenced around scheduled work blocks to minimize impacts to railway operations.
