Surespan, in partnership with Indigenous Iron Construction, a Tsleil-Waututh Band member-owned business, completed riprap grouting and scour protection works at Hixon Creek on the Eagle Mountain Pipeline’s Stawamus Forest Service Road. The scope included approximately 650 m³ of concrete grout and ready-mix placement, along with site mobilization, concrete pump setup, staged placement, rock embedment, and coordination during rock placement and water management. Surespan also supported quality control throughout the work, including onsite concrete testing, temperature monitoring, curing blankets, watering, and ongoing curing management prior to demobilization.
