WHERE CULTURE MEETS CONCRETE.
Project Type
Erection Services, Precast Concrete Fabrication
Location
Victoria, BC
Surespan supplied and erected 33 three-dimensional architectural precast concrete panels forming the building’s striking exterior. The low-relief panel design, developed with the project’s Indigenous design team, draws on a Coast Salish paddle and water ripple motif — translating traditional teachings about water and land into a sculpted concrete façade. Surespan’s precision-fabricated, three-dimensional panels helped bring one of the more architecturally distinctive academic buildings in the country to life. Completed in 2025, the building is home to Canada’s first program dedicated to Indigenous laws.
