The Boney Creek–Surespan JV completed marine-based installation and environmental protection works at the Brucejack Mine Waste Rock and Tailings Storage Facility Lake. The scope included installation of a 91 m WaveEater wave attenuator, approximately 750 ft of containment boom, and a 100 ft debris barrier, along with inspection, repair, and re-anchoring of existing turbidity curtains and retrieval and replacement of environmental monitoring cables and sondes. Working in a remote alpine lake environment, the joint venture adapted to legacy infrastructure deficiencies, damaged components, and constrained site access while maintaining strict environmental controls and completing the work without safety incidents
