Surespan demolished the existing structure and constructed a new 29.4 m precast concrete box girder bridge with a cast-in-place deck for the City of Pitt Meadows, founded on 610 mm steel pipe piles. The work included a traffic detour, GRS wall construction, removal of the original in-water timber piles, and construction of new abutments, a pier, and parapets. Surespan also installed and tied in a new permanent waterline, including a temporary bypass to maintain service during construction, and completed the project with barrier, guardrail, and bicycle railing installation.
