Surespan supplied and installed the structural steel package for two pipeline bridges: the 564 m Halfway River Bridge and the 42 m Farrell Creek Bridge. The scope included pier diaphragms, pile caps, bearings, superstructure steelwork, grating, handrails, and miscellaneous steelwork. Surespan also designed, supplied, and installed two temporary work bridges to provide construction access and support the permanent bridge erection methodology. Crews worked through winter conditions and transported girders over access routes with grades of up to 25%. By leveraging its vertically integrated fabrication and installation capabilities, Surespan completed the project several weeks ahead of schedule.
