Surespan Ready-Mix commenced business in 1998 to supply the company’s precast business as well as filling a need for ready mix supply in BC’s Cowichan Valley. Surespan is a supplier to industrial, commercial, residential, and marine projects. Surespan Ready Mix is a producer of high performance concrete. In addition to its fixed plants, Surespan Ready-mix owns and operated two portable batch plants. Surespan Ready Mix is a member of the BC Ready Mix Association and is a Work Safe BC COR certified operation.

Surespan Ready-Mix’s BCRMCA certified batch plant in Duncan has a daily production capacity of over 1,200 m3. We can provide winter heat, summer cooling, a variety of industry leading admixtures and coloured concrete. The batch plant includes a computerized batching system that allows for exact control of colour, admixtures and other components of the mix.
Surespan ready-Mix fleet of up to 16 trucks can supply single truck pours or the largest mass concrete projects in the Cowichan Valley.
Surespan Ready Mix has two remote batch plants that are available for deployment:
Plant #1 – This plant has a capacity of 600 m3 per day and is configured for cold weather concrete. It includes quality control equipment for onsite QA/QC. This plant is configured for smaller projects in very remote locations. Loaded on three trucks, this plant can be set up and operating in a day after arrival on site.
Plant #2 – This plant has a capacity of 1,200 m3 per day and is configured for cold weather concrete. It includes quality control equipment for onsite QA/QC. This plant is configured for larger volumes in remote locations. Loaded on ten trucks, this plant can be set up and operating in 7 days after arrival on site.
