Surespan supplied and erected 70 architectural precast concrete wall panels, in a range of shapes and sizes, for the new SFU Surrey Tech Centre. The panels’ sculpted, wave-like forms and interwoven glazing reveals give the building its striking ribbon-patterned exterior — a facade unlike anything else on the block amid the surrounding towers. The result is a landmark academic building whose precast skin does as much visual work as its glass curtain wall.
