Surespan installed a 110 ft forestry bridge for the Inuvialuit Energy Security Project, 20 km south of Tuktoyaktuk, providing engineered erection plans, procurement, on-site assembly, and erection. The superstructure was supported on pile cap and bearing assemblies founded on sixteen 14 inch drilled piles, with a ballast wall consisting of galvanized sheet piles. The work was completed in remote Arctic conditions with temperatures below −50°C. Surespan received a post-project safety recognition award from EGT Northwind Ltd. for completing the project incident-free.
