Surespan rehabilitated the King Street Bridge for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, removing the existing approach slabs, abutments, and bridge superstructure. The scope included extensive earthworks, installation of new piles, construction of new abutments and approach slabs, upgrades to the existing bridge superstructure, installation of new expansion joints, re-installation of the superstructure, and roadwork to accommodate the revised bridge elevation.
