The Vancouver Island University Cowichan Place Campus precast and cast in place concrete were supplied in their entirety by Surespan Ready-Mix, matching both the CIP & Precast in the tone ‘Pebble 641’ supplied by Davis Colors. Matching colours from the controlled production of precast in a fabrication plant to cast in place on site can be tricky, but with careful management, the panels and CIP blended beautifully, creating a spectacular building for VIU in Duncan.
