Surespan was contracted by the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for the replacement of a 55m long, two-lane steel pratt truss superstructure with a two-lane, steel girder and concrete deck superstructure. The scope of work includes construction of new abutments, demolition of the existing bridge and abutments, increasing the elevation of the bridge roadway approaches and provision of a temporary detour road.
