Surespan was contracted by the BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to replace a 55m long, two-lane steel Pratt truss superstructure with a new, two-lane steel girder and concrete deck superstructure. The scope of work includes the construction of new abutments, demolition of the existing bridge and abutments, and raising the elevation of the bridge roadway approaches. Additionally, a temporary detour road was provided to ensure minimal disruption during construction. This project highlights our expertise in large-scale bridge construction, quality control, and project management, delivering concrete solutions for complex infrastructure challenges.
