The Nass River Bridge is a single lane timber and steel structure on Highway 37 roughly 13 km south of the Meziadin Junction, and 75 km east of Stewart.
Surespan provided design build services and developed an innovative method for the bridge launch and existing bridge removal utilizing the new bridge as a de-launching truss. This method reduced the outage time for bridge users and minimized the dismantling of the old creosote bridge membrane over the river. Surespan also upgraded the existing concrete piers with new rock anchors and reinforced concrete.
