Rehabilitation of the existing King Street Bridge included removal of approach slabs and bridge superstructure. Surespan excavated and removed abutments, cut existing abutment piles, installed new piles and constructed new abutments, installed new bearings, reinstalled the bridge superstructures, expansion joints and approach slabs. The Work also included upgrading the approach rails and completing roadwork for the revised bridge elevation.
